By placing an order with Glitzy Glamour you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions relating to the use of this website.

Accuracy of information

We try where-ever possible to give a detailed description of all the goods featured on our website including but not limited to colours and lengths, and that our photography provides as near an accurate representation of the merchandise.  However sometimes it is hard to show the exact colouring and brilliance of the stones in some of the pieces, especially the AB crystals which can take on different colours depending on the lighting.

Where an item is nickel free or hypo-allergic for example, this will be stated in the description. If it does not state this then the item does not meet these requirements.

If you order something that on receipt does not meet the description, we would be happy to hear from you and in the unlikely event that you are not completely satisfied then you have the comfort of our 7 day no quibble return guarantee.

Placing an order

There are two types of goods sold on this website and these are as follows:-

In Stock items - The vast majority of the items sold on this website are what we term ‘In stock items’ and are available for immediate dispatch upon receipt of your order and cleared payment.  Please note however, that to ensure we can always offer something unique and different, we only stock small numbers of each item. Therefore once an item is out of stock, it will be replaced by a completely different item.

If you have seen an item previously that is now not being shown on the site, or you require more than is available to order, please contact us by email and we may be able to source that product/s for you.
Made to order items – Some items sold by us are Made to Order, these items are clearly marked on our website and are subject to some variations in terms and conditions than those for the supply of our In Stock items. 

When we receive a request and payment for one of these items we will then source the product(s) for the item(s) which is then made to order and dispatched within the timescales stipulated.

Glitzy Glamour will make every effort to ensure  that the materials used comply with the pictures and descriptions of the items shown on our website, however we reserve the right to use alternative materials.  In such event we will endeavour to use materials that are of the same or better quality than the originals.

In the unlikely event that these changes necessitate a substantial alteration to the item ordered, we will communicate this to you before work commences and if the alteration is unacceptable you have the right to cancel the order and obtain a full refund.

We strongly recommend that prior to placing a ‘made to order’ item that you read the specific clauses relating to these items.

Discounts

In addition to promotions that we may run from time to time, we offer a generous tiered discount available to everyone.

Orders £50.00 - £99.99 excluding delivery 2.5% discount
Orders £100 - £149.99 excluding delivery 5% discount  
Orders £150.00 -  £199.99 excluding delivery 10% discount
For orders £200.00 further discounts are available on request.

These discounts will be automatically deducted from your basket at checkout

Payment

We accept payment via our secure payment provider WorldPay, as well as payment by cheques, postal orders or bankers draft.

When placing an order using a credit or debit card the payment is handled by our secure server software which encrypts all personal data including your card information and name and address.  This ensures the information can be transmitted over the internet but not read by anyone.

If chosing to pay by cheque, postal order or bankers draft, please make payable to Glitzy Glamour Ltd and send to our address shown at the bottom of the screen.

Please note that no items will be dispatched until the funds have been cleared in our account and for cheques, postal orders or bankers draft this may take up to 7 days.

Right to cancel

In stock items
If after placing an order of  an instock item,  you wish to cancel it, please let us know iimmediately on the same day by email.  If the order has not been dispatched we will refund all money to you.
If the item has been dispatched we will provide you with a returns number for you to attach to the order and once we receive the item/s back we will then refund the cost of the item but please note postal costs WILL NOT be refunded. Please follow the terms outlined in our returns policy below.

Made to Order items
If after placing an order for a Made to Order item you wish to cancel it, and the item has not been either partially sourced, started work on or completed, we will provide you with a full refund.  Where work has commenced on an item or stock ordered we may at our discretion retain 25% of the cost of the item.

Dispatch

All orders of In Stock items will normally be dispatched within 3 working days of receipt of the order and payment.

For orders paid by cheque, bankers draft or postal order, the goods will be dispatched within 3 working days of the funds being cleared in our account.

Any Made to Order items will normally be dispatched following payment within three weeks of receipt of the order and payment.

Any variations to the timescales stipulated will be communicated to you as soon as possible.  If the new timescale is unacceptable, you have the right to cancel the order and obtain a full refund.

All items are thoroughly checked before dispatch for quality and completeness by Glitzy Glamour personnel.

All items will be security tagged. Please ensure you inspect all merchandise thoroughly BEFORE removing the security tag as we cannot accept returns for ANY reason where the tag has been removed.

Delivery

Within the UK

All items posted within the UK will be sent first class post.

A flat postage fee of only £2.75 will charged per order regardless of the number of items ordered.

If you require an item to be sent next day delivery please email us before placing an order and we will do our best to accommodate this request.  Next day delivery items will be sent by royal mail and will incur an additional charge of £4.50 in addition to our flat fee postal charge. Please note there are some areas of the UK where next day delivery is not possible, please see the www.royalmail.com for details.

Within the EU

For orders outside the UK but within the EU we charge a flat fee postal charge of £3.50 per order, regardless of how many items are ordered

Other countries 

We will post to some countries outside the UK, postal charges are available upon request.

For all orders outside the UK, we are only able to accept orders where the delivery address iis the same as the credit card account holder.

All orders outside of the UK are placed at the buyers own risk and Glitzy Glamour cannot be held responsible for any delays or failures to deliver these items.

PLEASE NOTE

International orders may be liable for customs tax, this is what your country may charge you for bringing goods into the country.  Please check with your customs for details on what these charges may be. It is your responsibility to pay these charges.

Delivery of the Goods shall be made to the address specified in the order and you shall make all arrangements necessary to take delivery of the Goods at your specified address.
It is your responsibility to ensure that all information relating to delivery is correct.

Whereas Glitzy Glamour will make every effort to dispatch the goods in the times specified above we cannot be held responsible for any delays in delivery once the item has left our premises or for any losses, damages or expenses incurred by you arising directly or indirectly from delays or failure to meet the delivery date.

In the event that we are experiencing an unusually high increase in orders which causes delays to dispatching items we will email you with a revised delivery date and if this is not acceptable you have the option to cancel your order.

Returns

Glitzy Glamour are happy to provide a 7 day no quibble refund policy, provided the following terms have been complied too.

Please ensure you have thoroughly inspected the goods before removing the security tag, removal of the tag will constitute deemed acceptance of the goods.

NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED ON ANY GOODS WHERE THE SECURITY TAG HAS BEEN REMOVED.

If you are not satisfied with the goods ordered then please notify us by email, within 7 days of receipt of the goods, providing the following information:-

  • Name and address the order was delivered too
  • The order number
  • The reason you are dissatisfied.

We will then send you a returns confirmation number by return email to attach to the goods.

Please note when returning goods please ensure that they are returned with all original packaging and the security tag in place.

For your own protection we strongly suggest that when returning goods to us, you do so using a postal service which offers adequate insurance and protection. Glitzy Glamour cannot be responsible for any returned items that may be lost in transit.

On receipt of the goods with all the packaging and tags in place we will refund the cost to you minus package and posting costs.

Return of Made to Order items

Again we are happy to offer a no quibble 7 day refund on made to order items.  However please note that due to the work involved and cost of ordering of materials to complete the item, we reserve the right to retain, at our discretion up to 50% of the cost to cover the cost of restocking the item and therefore any refund may be 50% of the cost less package and posting. Please refer to our returns policy for all other conditions which apply.

Warranty

Glitzy Glamour warrants that the Goods will at the time of dispatch, correspond to the description given by us and will be checked by our personnel for completeness before being dispatched.

Faulty Goods

We make every effort to ensure that goods are dispatched in good condition, with our personnel checking the packages before they are dispatched.  Goods are also sent out in protective packaging to ensure that they reach you in the same condition.  In the unlikely event, that you receive goods which have been damaged in transit then please follow the procedures within these terms.

  • Please inspect all goods before removing the security tag.
  • If any goods are found to be faulty then please inform us immediately by email providing the following information
  • Name and address the order was sent too
  • The order number
  • A description of the fault.

We will then provide you with a returns reference number to return the item, please ensure that the item is returned to us with all tags and packaging immediately and within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange either a full refund or replacement and investigate with the royal mail.

Privacy Policy

We will only collect information from you to enable us to complete your sale.

Under the data protection act we have a legal obligation to protect all information we collect from you.  We will not pass any of the information you provide to us to any third parties, or rent or trade any information for marketing purposes
